This is the home for long-form interviews — more extensive than the In Appreciation section.
I love talking to players about their careers: the highs and lows, the memorable plays, moments, seasons, teams. I try to do my homework, be respectful of their talent, and bring out the best in them.
I also try to stay away from the repetitive, impersonal, mundane questions that these players are pestered with to no end. I want to bring a different perspective, with a bit more depth than the typical “what was your greatest game?” stuff.
That’s the goal.
